CRANE SORENSEN
President
Crane Sorensen became President of the TTPAA in 2021. Since his installment, he has led the alumni and club through many breaks in the post-COVID world. With many more exciting plans for the future of our community, we are excited to have him lead us.
SYDNEY FLYNT
Vice President
After serving as the club's President in 2021 Sydney returned to her hometown in Houston. While attending law school, she is actively involved with the club and the alumni committee. She participates in the Texas Arena League and her favorite memories of riding are from her 2-point goal back in her undergrad years.
MARGUERITE BUCHMANN
Secretary
Marguerite returned to Denver, Colorado after graduating in 2020. She continues to be heavily involved in the polo community playing at the Denver Polo Club. She is now working her dream job for the United States Polo Association (USPA) as their Social Media Coordinator.
JD VAN GUNDY
Treasurer
JD currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. He graduated from Tech in 2009 and served as treasurer for the club during his undergrad years. JD lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Monet (who he met through the polo club), and his two children.
ASHLEY OWEN
Varsity Coach
Ashley is an essential part of the team and has been with TTPAA since the very beginning. Ashley bought the club property back in 2020. Since then Ashley has worked tirelessly to ensure our club members have the best polo education. In 2022 she led the club's Women's Team to win the Division II Regionals and then to Reserve Champions at the Division II Nationals. She then lead the team to another trip to Division II Nationals in 2023.
BRADY WILLIAMS
Horse Manager
Brady has played a crucial role in the continued success of the club. His exceptional skill set, true passion for polo, and creativity have inspired massive growth. Brady is still very involved in the polo community, frequently playing in the Texas Arena League. Brady is respected for his knowledge of horses, horsemanship and polo within the committee and polo community.
